This is a terrible school with horrible administrators and a school board that does nothing. Students gain nothing from going to this school. Any quality teachers desperate enough to accept a position at the school are gone within 2-3 years. The remaining aren’t worth their weight in peanuts. Supposedly there is a “band” program- who’d know? Sport’s participation is so low some teams just cease to exist. As a parent, you’d never know there was a principal or superintendent because they sheepishly hide and refuse to acknowledge or solve any of the MANY issues that exist here. This school should be shut down. There are plenty of other options in Bartonville.

This school is an embarrassment to the community and it's students. I personally go to the school Monday through Friday every week, and I have observed that student participation is at an all-time low. For example, I am the only seventh grader on our 7th grade basketball team. We had to scrape as low as 4th and 5th graders to complete the team, and even then we only have five. The kids have no motivation because they simply don't care about school or their grades, because their parents don't care if they fail, so they don't listen in class, and bring their phones in to play on during class, and I personally think that the teachers ignore them.

The administration at this school and one of it's teachers do not care about their students struggles or disabilities. The principal now super intendant antagonises students and pushes them to their breaking point. He clearly does not understand mental health or learning disabilities. The school board is letting teachers and administrators get away with treating it's students poorly. Parents hands are tied with no help.
