    One word......Terrible. Leaving this school was the best academic and social decision I've made. The students who attends these schools have poor attitudes and erratic behavior. The teachers are subpar and they like to joke and make crude remarks not only behind your back but they attempt to embarrass you in front of the class. I hated every moment of my life when I attended this school. This school used to be great now its ruined. 2/1O would not recomend. Elaine kids played a part in ruining this school too. One guy from Elaine was distributing drugs at this school. One last thing the athletics department is subpar. The coachs and the facilities are out dated. At the moment the 'Bears' aren't good. Their teams are full of guys and gals who fight alot, argue, and have huge egos. Their is no teamwork people are selfish!

    Barton Lexa High School used to be a great school. Then they starting letting everyone out of the district come there.Then it went to below average (In my opinion). Also when the new High School Principal was hired, alot of nonsense and harrassment of the students has began. Alot of kids are going to drop out or get GEDS because of him and the hardship he has put on these "already High expectations of the kids at Barton. Personally I would drop out if i was a student there! Teachers are mostly all uptight and do not have open minds or kindness.
