I am a student here and there are lots of fights, talk about drugs, VAPE PARTIES IN THE RESTROOMS, sexual talk, and much much much worse things. Dr. Randell is ok but they seem to have given up on focusing on all the bad stuff and adressing students. Kids constanly put innapporprite stuff in the bathrooms. They didn't even shut down the school when they got a shooting threat. OUR LIFES WERE IN DANGER AND THEY DIDN'T CLOSE IT DOWN. Favortism between teachers. It feels like the only good thing is the theater program which puts on great shows all year.

The leadership in this school is a huge problem, with the principal more concerned about being addressed as “Dr” than the safety and well-being of his students. This is a tough age and there is an enormous amount of bullying, harassment, and drugs here. It seems as if the staff have given up trying to proactively address these issues and instead turn a blind eye as much as they can. We have lived in this area for the school system, but have decided to move out of state after a year dealing with this school. We have an IEP student who received the bare minimum support and had horrible grades after prior years of success at another school. There was zero communication between teachers and parents, with the only calls being from admin to inform of incidents involving other students bullying. Those incidents were never handled well, and continued throughout the year as a result. This is such a dark stain on the otherwise wonderful school system here, and I hope they will hear the complaints and take action to resolve this starting with the root of the problem, the principal.

There is a not so good admin, kids fight, vape, smoke, threaten people, say racial slurs, and kids say some of the most outrageous things and ALWAYS disrupt class.

A ton of fights this year, children want to act out and get attention. Kids plan to jump one another, 7th graders are SMOKING and VAPING in restrooms. There are some teachers that are downright horrendous, terrible, rude, obnoxious, and weird in general. I do not really reccomend this school, due to the amount of physical fights, on the bus kids get their hair pulled and stuff stolen. Get called racial slurs, do nasty things in the restroom, get sexually harassed by OTHER children. It is just insane, you don't know if your child is partaking in these things. Teaching is okay, yet I wish they gave out more homework. Safety, just none. As I said a million times, so MANY fights! In the restrooms, on the stall walls there are writings telling kids to kill themselves. Kids do talk about having drugs, and they DO smoke there. Which is just insane. Watch your children carefully, you never know what may happen.

I have for a long time saw favoritism, but I was also part of the problem however, i feel that the leadership really isn't that swell considering that even the vice principals are a bit biased at times, not often but theres still their moments of weakness but they're also only human. And it feels at times that teachers simply don't like certain kids and refuse to listen to what they have to say and its less of a "who has the more evidence" kind of situation when it comes to punishment and more of a "who has the more friends or people on their side.", you could likely pay for people to back you up and Elmore Park might simply believe it because "Hey, they have more people against you! It has to be true."

The School went down hill. I remember when my sister went to this this school, and the test scores were outstanding! Now a couple years later the school is starting to decline. Our school is below state avarge in math. There is no respect for eachother. I've seen so many fights with sixth graders in the locker room. There has been so many fights that we can't even change in the locker room anymore. Most of the time when kids fight the teachers have no clue on what's going on. Also there are some really lazy teachers. My choir teacher can't even talk anymore because of how disrespectful the students are. She literialy needs to yell over them. Finally they need to give us more homework because they literialy give no homework. This school is good but it needs to start to get on track.

Overrated by far! Teachers are disrespectful to the students because they aren't much older than them so they drop to their level. There is favoritism and administration runs the school more like a military school or a prison rather than a middle school. All that glitters isn't gold. Beware...

The faculty and staff were very helpful and concerned with my sons' success during their first year at Elmore Park. We received caring, consistent, communication from the teachers as well as administration.

This school will not improve until the administration has been replaced. Should have been done long ago.

This was our first year at Elmore Park. So far so good! My son is in resource and has a slight learning disability. Teachers have been understanding and very helpful. The school is not huge and love the smaller feel here. Everyone is always nice and registration was great.

I've heard from several other parents about problems they encountered with the principal of EPMS, but didn't think much about it. Now that my children are actually attending this school, I can see it is true. Was really hoping that we wouldn't have the same problems, but unfortunately we are. Never had problems this serious with other schools.
