We have had a fantastic experience with their pre-kindergarten. I don't know about the other grades, but Ms. Davis in Pre-K is amazing and my son (even with virtual school and now hybrid) LOVES school. I am very pleased that this was his first pk-12 experience because it sets him up on the right foot.

THIS SCHOOL IS REALLY BAD!!!! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE IF U DONT WANT THEM BEING BULLIED OR MISTREATED . STAFF DO NOT TAKE BULLYING SERIOUS, TEACHERS HAVE NO CONTROL OF THE CLASSROOM , WHICH MEANS YOUR CHILD WILL NOT GET HIS/HER PROPER EDUCATION . THERE'S ALWAYS SUBSTITUTES ,THAT JUST PASS OUT WORK, IM A PARENT AND WITNESSED THESE THINGS MYSELF , A SCHOOL SHOULDN'T RUN THIS WAY, LOOK UP THE TEST SCORES, THOSE ALONE WILL SPEAK FOR ITSELF.

Little to no awareness by the staff about the latest and most effective constructive methods to help children with special needs. Not a very good neighborhood. Teachers can't be bothered.

North Bend is a good school trying to become a great school. The school is composed of 99% of African American children who are truly loving and caring. We have one of the best principals in State of Maryland. She believes that every student comes to school to get smarter and as an educator I also believe this too and each everyday give my all. Giving my all doesn't just means teaching to the test or incorporating the new Common Core standards but giving of oneself, motivating, inspiring and encouraging children to do their very best in school as well as in life. Children now days are faced with so many issues, but teachers are constantly reminding students of all the opportunities they have to become great. So in saying all of this, I believe we have to ask the hard questions and the questions are now why, why is the answer right. Students have to dig deeper, research more, show us the evidence and then they will gain a better understanding, not just know the answer.
