This is the best city school my children have went to. I plan to keep them here until we move back to the county. I feel very comfortable when I leave my children here.

I do not like this school at all. Just waiting for the opportunity to pull my child out and send her somewhere else. There seems to be a closed circle of information that leaves a certain portion of the population uninformed. Some things don't make sense: the cost of things such as school trips and pictures are higher than other schools with the same economic makeup, yet the school is no better kept than most. The students seem to always be out of control, and there is no division between middle school students, who are adult-sized, and the smallest children, who are 4 or 5 years old. It's a sad sight to watch small children being nearly trampled at dismissal.

This is one of the best Schools in Baltimore City. My nieces were able to read complete sentences in Kindergarten. My oldest neice graduates from Senior High this year and she has maintained her Straight A Status and values that the teachers of this school deposited into her life. Another niece who is in the 7th grade was able to attend Loyola College reading camp this summer. Also our second grader is keeping up the pace as she prefers to read then watch TV. Ms. Gilly is an outstanding teacher for anyone who wants to give their child a great start - All of my nieces started with Ms. Gilly and they are focused and ambitious. I love this school and the staff who is always have time for the children and parents.
