5 stars for my grandson’s pre-k teacher, Tocarra Frederick. He was four years old at the time, and only attended for half of the school year before we moved, but he learned a lot. By the time he entered kindergarten at a new school (which is rated 9/10), he knew so many sight-words that we was ahead of his classmates. He was also reading before his classmates. Today, he is an excellent reader, good in math, science, and other subjects, because of the foundation built with the teaching skills of Ms. Frederick.1 star for so many parents hanging in the hallway and cafeteria, seemingly doing nothing by way of support. I was shocked to see some unruly children running in the halls and no one saying anything. When I asked someone why there’s no discipline, they responded that they were fearful that the child’s parent might be around and may get angry for disciplining the child. That was weird. I hope that has changed.2 stars for the crammed driveway and street to drop off and pickup your child. It’s a mess—although the friendly attendants trying to keep it organized and flowing deserve 5 stars.

My experience has been vey nice. Everyone is very welcoming and the teachers are dedicated to their craft and the children.

I have a son who is in Kindergarten and I'm super dissatisfied with the school, his teacher and the staff. There is not enough supervision for the students, there is lack of communication and my son come home with stories of how his teacher said if the kids continue to be bad they will grow up to be thugs. These teacher's need more training to deal with inner city kids. Its a shame.

I was really shocked to read that Liberty only received a 5/10 for great school ratings. When I moved from Fl to Balto. Co. then to Balto. City I was so concerned about my daughter that struggled in math to attend city school. However, my fears was put to rest and I truly wish I had transferred her to Liberty sooner than later. She made a lot of progress her 2 years there thanks to the staff and the principal.

I am parent that has child who attends this school. I am not sure how this school received a 7 out of 10 but I strongly suggest this be reviewed. This school is unsafe and the staff members are lazy and ghetto. Why are there so many random adults standing around the school? Not sure why they have a buzzer to buzz you in the school?? I guess for appearances. This school is a tragedy waiting to happen. The principal has just been lucky thus far. I would not recommend Liberty to any parent that I know.

I just love this school. I have three children attending and they loved the school from the firstday. Its like a family rreunion everytime u walk through the doors. The afterschool program is excellent with so many activities. The kids went on a hundred trips through out the year. Its a wonderful school. I wish it was a middle school.
