Overall the school shows promise in its teaching and family engagement but social-emotional support, special education, and safety should be more focused on to better the experience of all children.

This school is a terrible school for children who have mature minds and can perceive when the school is gaslighting them to think they’re the problem which is all the time. The teachers gossip about children audibly to where a student can hear and go tell their peers. This can and already did take a toll on a young individuals learning.

I was a student for a period of time at Greater Grace. Before Greater Grace, I went to different public schools. I can’t begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for the time I spent as a student at GGCA. First and foremost, the teachers and staff at Greater Grace are like no other. These aren’t just teachers, at Greater Grace the staff is a team of committed servants of Christ, with your child’s best interest at heart. Not only is it guaranteed that you’ll be surrounded by amazing people of God at Greater Grace, but the level of education you get is much higher than the public schools I attended. Even my AP and advanced classes in public school didn’t compare to the teaching I received at Greater Grace in the few short years I had the privilege to attend. I went to Greater Grace Middle School, High school I went to Perry Hall and I kid you not, most of my 10th and 11th grade classes were the exact same courses I took in 6th and 8th grade at Greater Grace. Not only do you receive a better education at GGCA, but you also learn the Bible on a daily basis from seasoned men of God and hero’s of the faith. The opportunity to glean from these men of God as a young person you can’t put a price on. To pray every day in school and have teachers that are encouraging you in your walk with God that really care for you makes the difference. Your child will build friendships and relationships that will last a lifetime here and get an education that will put them more than a few steps ahead. Thank you to the staff of Greater Grace for their hard work and care! I’m 28 years old now, walking with the Lord and still today, more than ever, thankful for the education I received at Greater Grace.

Please, please, PLEASE…if you are looking for a good Christian school that enforces it’s rules, handles bullying/student issues appropriately, quality education, etc…do not send your children here. Do not be fooled by the illusion that this a good school, I am telling you this is just a public school that charges tuition and includes Bible classes. Large classroom sizes, teachers who can’t handle the rowdy unruly kids that are allowed to enroll and remain enrolled here, subpar education, lack of supervision which leads to repeated fights breaking out/ injured children…I could go on and on. And not to mention the lack of response or even an appropriate response from the interim principal when parents address their concerns. My family is not new to the Christian/private school world so we know that the way things are at GCA is not the norm nor should it be tolerated. We are paying a lot of money and should be getting far more than what we have gotten from this school. 20 days and counting left at this institution and they could not go by fast enough…needless to say we will not be returning in the fall.

As a parent I am 100% thrilled to have 3 of my children attending GGCA. The teachers are caring, kind, and very equipped. Great atmosphere, leadership, and opportunities to hear Biblically sound teaching. The academic standards are high, but the teachers seem to work hard to help. Great school overall!

Great school as long as your child has no behavior challenges. This school is not equipped to handle those challenges. If your child is an angel than this school is 'heavenly'.

Not sure how GGCA has 5 stars. I have 2 kids that attended GGCA and they were both high B and A students. Ever since they started attending GGCA they have both struggled not only with their grades but with their confidence and their beliefs in Christians. The teachers aren't as great as they are assumed to be. There are a few really great staff there so don't get me wrong. It has just went completely down hill in the last 13 years since I have been in school. I think GGCA has potential to be great again.....They just need to practice what they preach and focus on the students more and a little less of every little thing in life. The kids really need tender care in these last days..... These teachers need to wake up and smell the coffee! At this point....I definitely do NOT recommend this school........

I attended GGCA for 5 years. I had the best experience there. The staff are friendly and caring, the teachers committed and kind, and it is a comfortable environment to study and learn. I found that I was encouraged in my walk with God and learned daily about His love and grace. I took part in many sports activities such as basketball and soccer, drama, and attended many youth trips. I had such a great time attending this school that I am currently volunteering in the office to give back.

Baltimore Magazine was right to name this as one of the top schools in the area (September 2010 issue). GGCA has it all: a great curriculum, excellent teachers who know their subjects and love your kids, a top-notch sports program (check out all the banners in the gym), music, art, and outreach opportunities. There's no other place I'd want my children!
