Sierra is a place where teachers and staff care deeply about the success of their students. Test scores do not reflect the dedication that the staff has for each and every student. Spartan students and staff have many awards, projects, activities and sports that makes it a special place to be. If you interviewed former students or staff, they would say the same thing. It is dissappointing to have one negative review color the entire school. Sierra is a wonderful place to be every day and the success that our students have every day push us to do better every year. We are Spartans!

First off my child went to Cesar Chavez elementary. Our neighborhood is in Sierra district. 99% of the children that attended Chavez that live in Sierra district transferred to other middle schools. My son had no friends from Chavez there and was in a fight the second week. The campus had condoms on the ground and on drinking stations. The teachers are rude and kids are disrespectful when we visit. If I could rate this school in the negative I would. Whatever you do don't send your kids here. Move to another side of town. PS. Rio Bravo Country Club home owners you fall in this district. BEWARE!!!!!
