Our grandson that we are raising went to this school last year and the year before and his experience as well as our with school staff/principal was nothing but detrimental to him and ourselves. He just told us he can't do his work cause for the last 2 years he did have to do anything. Before I go on he has severe social anxiety and other mild issues. This school and us had put him in special classes called "IEP CLASSES" which are supposed to help, well they didn't Thank you so much to Mr.ORR for helping him/us so much which is the only one that helped. The principal there which I don't remember this person cause I don't care too. He is/was and or still is but was very mean and not understanding and seemed like he didn't care. He was very mean to our grandson wouldn't let him attend any special functions except maybe a basketball game or 2. Let him graduate but didn't and won't give him a diploma for some reason. Wouldn't let him do anything fun or to make him feel better about anything he did. They didn't help him at all they pretty much "TOOK 2 YEARS FROM HIM". They knew of his issues but never had parent conferences or anything about anything. I feel bad for our granddaughter but I will not allow this behavior with her. They really need to look into their staff to see how qualified they are. I plan on getting a meeting with RSMD to get answers before the ruin other children.

I am extremely disappointed with Principal Turner's leadership at Rosedale Middle School. He is not only an ineffective leader but also a deeply unpleasant individual. He targets students unfairly, forcing admission of guilt. Principal Turner's actions and attitudes create a toxic environment that is detrimental to both staff and students. It is disheartening to see such an awful person in a position of authority. My experience with Rosedale Middle has been nothing short of dreadful. Dealing with the school has been an ongoing nightmare, and I am relieved that my child is finally off to high school. I never have to endure the incompetence and hostility of this institution again. I strongly urge others to reconsider sending their children to Rosedale Middle, as the environment fostered there is toxic and damaging.

I’m a former student and I transferred about halfway into the year I got little to no support durning this time. The staff does not punish students properly. One day during PE another student physically assaulted me and attempted to break my arm (I was fine) the school did not call my guardian or punish the student who assaulted me they made me listen to her forced apology and gave her no repercussions. And when my guardian contacted the school about the other student they said that they didn’t call because they were still investigating. If I ever have children they will not be attending here.

My child loved this school and will always have fond memories. I loved the fact that she learned to love school.
