I am a current student and have been a student at Baker Web for the last almost three years. I started when I was entering sixth and am now completing my eight-grade year. I went to a public school where I was bullied all the time and the teachers and principal didn't do anything because the bully was a teacher's kid. Here at Baker, I don't have to worry at all about being bullied. I love my classes and am learning way more than I ever did since I can move ahead at my own pace. I have the help that I need and my ES is an awesome teacher who is always there for me. I really recommend this school and don't agree at all with the rating the school received of 3/10.

Excellent! The Baker Web Academy has been a perfect match for our son and family. This is his 4th year in the school.Lots of school support, tutoring available and a wonderfully supportive homeroom teacher who is always available to text, chat or email. A++++ school! We love it.

I would rate my experience here at Baker Web Academy a 10/10! I am learning so much more than I was in public school, the teachers and students are very kind, and Baker Web will make sure your child suceeds!

Very happy, highly recommended for children with special needs. Curriculum is flexible and there are many different ones to choose from.

Our son loved this school and finished high school with a 4.0 plus and with 72 credits. He is now attending a university in Texas where he is pursuing a Criminal Justice degree. With a little extra hard work he will be able to graduate after two years. The support from teachers at BWA is huge. As a student, you will have responsibilities for your school work, do the work, and you will succeed. It's a choice.

We love this school. Our son ended the year without his assessments showing to marks. He loved the ability to learn at his own pace.

My daughter and I love this school. She is in 8th grade and this year has been great. A challenge, but fun at the same time!

We have had excellent experiences with this school after transitioning from public school. We love the flexibility, but also the attentiveness of our teacher. As parents it is great to know exactly how our students are doing on a weekly basis, and we love seeing our teacher twice a month. We also have had great experiences with the Director and others we have dealt with. An excellent choice in Central Oregon!

I enjoyed the fact that students were able to work at their own pace and at their level. Sometimes it was a little difficult to get in touch with the content teacher, but the Advisory Teacher was great!

Unfortunately, Baker Web Academy is nothing more than an affront to education. The director of the school literally said there is nothing wrong with staff members lying to students.

My daughter was going from 5th (elementary school) to 6th (middle school) here in Bend, Oregon. We knew we wanted to taker her out of school, but we didn't know for sure what curriculum to give her so she could keep up with the kids who were in public school.BWA has been awesome to us. They send out a certified teacher twice a month who really knows our kids (now our boys are part of the program, too), and he helps us keep everybody on pace for successful completion. The kids love their chromebooks and we're pleased with how much they are engaged with their classes and how much they are improving their writing. If I had to come up with a downside to BWA, I would only be able to say that it's not for everyone. If both parents are working, then there's not going to be an adult to stay home with the kids--that's a huge plus for the local public schools, the childcare factor. We plan to transition the kids from Baker Web into the Baker Early College when they are old enough, so they can earn community college credits and high school graduation credits at the same time. For free. Five stars only because they don't allow us more.
