This has to be the worst school ever in Azle ISD. My daughter says the bathroom stalls do not close, and it smells bad. The cleaners never clean them at most they clean it 2 times a month. They need to break down this school and turn it into a Mcdonalds I was having a great time with my husband and my daughter walks in with tears in her eyes saying she gets badly bullied without anyone caring. Shame on the principal and the teachers.

I have had a positive experience with this school. Education of students is valued.

So far, not impressed at all. It's like they are there for a paycheck, not because they love to teach or love children.

Horrible. Azle Elementary is the worst school with the worst staff in the entire Azle Independent School District. To the school board: It's time for *another* do-over at AE.

All these years, schools, principal, and teachers, this is by far my worst experience. Team has zero experience with students, and it shows. They have a zero tolerance for parental involvement. The school holds award ceremonies throughout year, and parents are not invited. They do perfect the art of discouraging enthusiasm out of their students. I hope the administration finds professional, experienced team members to positively lead the school. It was a good school, but now lacks proper classroom management skills and encouraging parental engagement. Administration doesn't fulfill it's obligations to professionally lead/develop its team. Be prepared for the school team to play the "blame game" or point fingers at the parents. They sweep issues under the rug until out of control. My daughter has moved to the 7th grade, so bit late to correct my issues. I hope other students have been treated better or will be treated better in future years.

Son has been in multiple schools, never any problems, including the wonderful Silvercreek Elementary. As soon as he started at Azle Elementary I cannot get effective communication for the life of me! I have had meetings and emails and another meeting and yet still the "action plan" is never followed so that I know what's going on with school work and discipline alike. Couldn't even get work when he was out sick for 4 days despite emails and calls daily. Absolutely the worst school I have ever dealt with.

The staff at this school does not support students or parents. The new principal and the new assistant principal have zero experience in school administration. I have serious questions as to why they were hired - Sadly, I guess the nationwide teacher shortage is forcing Azle ISD to the bottom of the barrel. It used to be a good school. Not anymore. Avoid it at all costs.

The new principal, Gina D. Lee is a bully & a tyrant. She works hard to alienate parents and guardians.

This school has exceptional teachers as well as a proactive principal and highly engaged counselor and curriculum specialist. This will be my second year teaching and I cannot wait to be back inside the classroom. These are lucky students who are loved, but still held accountable for inappropriate behaviors. This staff is excellent. Parents should feel proud their students are receiving progressive instruction.

I just started working at this school and I have to say the staff is amazing. The principal, Erin Deel, is the best I have worked with. The students are respectful and hardworking. It is the best.

This is a great school that demands children/parents take responsibility for their education. Homework is given and graded. My daughter did well there. She has moved on to high school and has what she needs to successfully complete AP work.

Well, both of my children have attended school there and I had heard not so great things. But in our experience it was great, their principal was great and she handle things in a fair and timely manner. She was fantastic and the teachers for the most part seemed to like being there for the students. My children had Mrs. Winters and Mrs. Parker and there were no issues, they were very professional when we spoke with them. Every situation is different though, our experience was as good to be expected. :-)

Well, the principle is awesome. This is her first year there & I am overly impressed by her sincerity & her expediency in handling any & all situations. She is fair. She gets all sides of a story and then handles it diplomatically. I have a problem with the math teacher, Ms. Parker. It seems that she is texting and on her computer through the ENTIRE class. My daughter is hesitant to ask questions due to the teachers constant wavering moods. My second gripe is Ms. Winters. She is tacky with the students. I have gone to the principle on numerous occasions to discuss this teacher. My husband spoke with the teacher & I had a conference with her as well. I can assure you that Ms. Winters was sugary sweet with me, but my daughter continues to have problems with her. Ms. Winters made it perfectly clear that she is not there to be the child's friend...just the teacher. While I don't expect them to be BFFs I do expect her to dish out to my daughter the same respect that she wants for herself. I would move her out of her class, but the band schedule won't allow for it. Overall, don't let a few bad teachers ruin the wonderful school.
