I'm giving 2 stars solely on 2 good teachers and the counselor. The children are given Chrome books to do their work and aren't allowed to take them home to finish any homework. Most teachers simply tell the kids to do everything on the device and snap at them if they have any questions because "it's all right in front of you". Several teachers also use this time to be on their phones. One teacher (previously stated as wrong subject on my previous review) dresses entirely inappropriately, while another basically sets one large assignment for the entire quarter and sets it for 80% of the grade while being on her phone and not actually addressing students. The leadership and bullying policies are an absolute joke. We have considered selling our house simply to get out of this school system.

This school is a very good school just that one of my science teacher gives out Lots I mean LOTS of homework so most kids including me aren’t able to finish due to a busy schedule and what ever you don’t get done goes in a as 0 no questions asked they just mark the whole packet incomplete even if you only did not do 1 pageBut over all there are always going to be mean kids in every school you go to but they are more nice here just that some kids will start spamming welcome emails and they all want you to be there friend and nobody else’s

I would rate this school as a ZERO if possible. Good teachers come and quickly leave as soon as they can or their commitment to receive student loan credit is met. The school sent out letters asking parents to lie about their child's attendance so the school could gain state dollars. Improvement won't come until the entire leadership is turned over and housecleaning is started. The state of Missouri should disband the Aurora district in favor of consolidation with other poorly led districts and insert state officials to oversee the clean up of existing problems.
