    As the parent of a child with special needs, I can only give rave reviews to Augusta Independent School! When my son entered Augusta School at age seven, the staff not only welcomed us warmly, but rose above and beyond to learn about his needs and impliment strategies to help him learn and grow. My son began fifth grade this year, and I am pleased to report that he not only achieves continued academic excellence, but has also exceeded expectations in the area of social growth. I could not ask for a better school for my children.
