I have a 3rd grader and kindergartener in the school this year and so far we love it. It is a smaller school so everyone becomes like a family. The teachers are very sweet and you can tell they love what they do. We especially love Mrs. Caudill (K), Mrs Pirkle (music), Mrs. Danner (3rd) and Mr. Cardoza (PE). I'm sure I'm leaving off some but these are the teachers that my kids come home talking about every day, excited about what they are learning. Keep up the great work Garrett!

Garrett has no communication between the facility and parents. They also are under staffed which makes the attention of the students horrible. The pre-k system there is a joke. My 4 year old doesn't get any attention. When and if she gets into trouble the teacher can not give us a straight answer on why she got into trouble. Something needs to be done because this is the second year we have been there and they have promised all these changes and absolutely NOTHING has changed besides the principal. We are looking into private schools for our girls.

My child goes to one school and makes good grades and all the sudden she comes to the school and she is failing in bringing home F shame on you Garrett Elementary

I am a former student of this school. I attended J.R. Lamar school until this building was constructed, because of all the "baby boomers". I was in the first fourth grade here. It was a great new school and I hope it continues to have high achievement by staff and students.

I would not ask for better teachers, staff, administration at Garrett. My daughters love attending Garrett, Excellent school.

the great school has excellent teachers ,great staff ,school leadership,and a great strong principal ... !!!!!!!!!!!! and i love that they have challenging academic programs
