This school has great teachers, amazing students and the heart to see everyone succeed. It had a horrid principal but luckily she was replaced. I have been both teacher and parent at this school and I loved the experience minus dealings with the principal and her staff she brought with her from her previous school.

This school would BE in the top 5 if they would replace the principal at the school. This principal at this school is clearly all about herself. If she cared about her staff or her students then the would not still be a needs improvement school going on 13 years. This also shows that the Broad of Education need to have a makeover in staff and their positions as well. How do you allow a school to stay in the same state for so long and not change the person that is in charge there. It is really sad that DR.DANA HARRIS is not supporting her staff in their journey to educate. This is nothing that I was told but I have had many dealings with her in reference to the standards of the school. A CHANGE NEEDS TO HAPPEN FAST...

The faculty and staff at Bayvale are making a significant difference in the lives of children each and every day. These caring and charamactic folks are touching lives and opening the hearts and minds of students. Thank you for your hard work and above all, for teaching them the life-long lessons that will enable them to lead productive lives.

My son only went here for one semester. Only because we are military and were PCSing to NC. He ended up with a good teacher so our experience was good enough. But he had to miss a week cause his Grandmother passed away, and they withdrew him from school. Because they did not want the absences on record. I thought it was pretty stupid. But other than that I just didn't like the area it was in.
