Have two children in the school for the last eight years. Not had one bad experience!Academic standards are high, and the emotional support of children is even higher.If you have the means to send your children to this school, you are doing the best thing you can for them.

Our children have enjoyed attending LSA for their High school years. They have been able to engage in sports, extra curricular activities and wonderful course selections that pivoted their resumes for college which we are thankful for. LSA also requires community service for each student that enabled our children to help others and give their time to our community which is important to us. Being able to surround our children in prayer by the staff and sense God's presence were the initial draw to us as parents to this school. The feel of small classes where the students get to know each other and their teachers was an added bonus. While no school is perfect and it's often easy to reflect on negative things rather than positive I am choosing to feel grateful for our experience at LSA. Seeing the staff work hard in trying to create a positive environment is definitely felt when you walk through the door. We overall have enjoyed our days at Lee Scott and are children have been happy here!

As a university professor, this was an obvious choice for my two children. The environment is wonderful. I can make those statements having also experience the local public school system (K-5). My experience with the public school system was not that favorable hence we opted for LSA. My oldest son, when in public school, spent significant time "helping the other kids that don't understand." Furthermore, when I met with the instructor to discuss this issue, I was told "Oh, don't worry your son is doing great! He is ahead of the class and we don't ever have to worry about him." Teaching to the lowest common denominator is not part of my educational model. I don't engage that practice in my classroom and I will not abide those that do. I would encourage any parent to come to LSA and take a look at what it has to offer.

Some of my worst memories are at this school. If you're folks are affluent and you are relatively well-adjusted, maybe it's for you. If you are being abused and neglected at home, you won't feel welcome here either.
