Had seen bad reviews of this school and was a little nervous about sending my child to this school. But my guess was wrong and I am so happy that I sent my daughter to this School. Looks like a lot has changed in the last few years and Hill Roberts is a great school to send your kind. The Principal, Vice Principal, teachers, and staff are great. Very Good School.

Hill Roberts is a terrible school .was fine but got worst in and out principals, new teachers each year, too much focus on mcas and tons of pressure on the kids.Principal "Scott Johnson" has communication issues, I hope he is not at the school next year. He also treats "SOME" children different from others!!!

Horrible school!! They have a large room with four classes separated by cheap foldable walls, the children cannot concentrate. The Principal "Scott Johnson" has communication issues, I hope he is not at the school next year. He also treats "SOME" children different from others, I could go on and on about this school.......

Hill Roberts is a terrible school .was fine but got worst in and out principals, new teachers each year, too much focus on mcas and tons of pressure on the kids. Non-professionalism, needed to speak with teacher regarding my child and issues in the classroom..teacher refused to pick up the phone, actually put my daughter on the phone instead so that she can tell me all was ok. Even secretary said, "oh I thought you were going to speak with the parent". Called 2 days ago, no response whatsoever from the teacher. We've been put on the back burner because the children and families are not of matter I guess. Horrible system, loose ends everywhere! I'm so glad I'm moving due to the school system making it impossible for me to want to stay. My children deserve better. By the way, classroom size are 25+ kids per teacher, not a good way to learn. My daughter has expressed not being able to focus due to too much noise in the class. Poor quality all around. Granted there is that one teacher in the building that really cares but there aren't enough to run a smooth school system. They don't care about the children. Nicer reviews a few years back, as I stated earlier it's just getting worst.

Have had three principal in the last three years. New teachers as the ones that are there don't last. There is something wrong there. The classrooms are CROWDED. Too much focus on MCAS. Unprofessional on top of all that. They need people who care working with our children. Good luck getting any type of response with them wether you call or go in person, they don't get back to you. RUN!

This school is way too focused on mcas scores. students who are expected to do well on the state tests don't seem to get any attention or encouragement to reach full potential. Gifted kids??? nothing here for them. Special needs kids??? nope, no services for them either unless you fight tooth and nail for them. Attleboro is notorious for denying needed services. There are some amazing teachers, but they are fighting an uphill battle. The administration is terrible. There is a big turnover rate of principals across Attleboro district. September 2013 will bring the third principal in as many years. Seems to be a sign that the culture is bad from the top down.
