This school is really bad, don't come with your children, it's the worst. If you're Hispanic, they'll discriminate against you a lot, they take your phones away and search them. There's really too much discrimination. If you're in that area, the best thing I recommend is that you move right away and if you have a job there, move to another area close to your work, but not with that school. I was there last year and it was terrible for me. The teachers are good, but the students talk badly about you. There's a lot of discrimination and they force you to wear uncomfortable clothes. Please don't come here.

The school Is okay at the most, but it isn't the worst thing. Not a lot of communication with students and parents, But it is a pride safe school! There is a lot of bullying but half of it is jokes or really bad insults, so not bad. I would say some of the teachers do to much but they are just helping. Down side for the students, Must put phone in a box for the day. There is a metal detector in the front of the school though. Overall Wouldn't fully recommend but its not the worst thing.

I withdrew my child after only 6 weeks due to bullying and academic issues

Not a great experience at all. My child is self motivated and was able to excel in all subjects, however, I do not feel this school acknowledged his accomplishments. They were to concerned about the kids who didn't want to be there! Parents, please think twice before sending your child to this school if you want them to get a good education and experience middle school in a good light. You will be disappointed if you do send them to Young Middle!

You might want to consider obtaining a working FAX number and an answering system. These are basic elements of a great school where parents can communicate and interact with staff!
