- Submitted by parent on April 28, 2015I was searching for a school that would treat my teen as an intelligent human being and foster a love of community and learning. My teen is a very self motivated learner that began to hate the pressure and standardization of the public school. They have allowed him to work at his own pace, several grades advanced in some courses. Now he discusses what he learns, not how much he hates school. He actually did very well academically in public school. He loves the community service days . I feel that he has grown in so many ways in addition to his academics.

- Submitted by other on June 25, 2013This school is done. Horizons School has lost both its academic accreditation and its non-profit status this year. What's the point.
