I graduated in 1991. It was a wonderful school then - for its size and demographics - excellent sports, excellent drama, FFA, music... Then came the changes brought in by Nora Roberts and Measure 5 (I think it was.)Now, the school is but a shadow of itself. The music is gone, FFA is nearly gone (NO presence at the county fair in 2019.) The sports are better than ever, but without cheerleaders... I'm deeply saddened by what I've seen there more recently. 25 years ago, I would have recommended this school a lot. Now, I can't. The smart students leave - and they don't return.I can't see how this school gets a 7/10 rating here when schooldigger places it at nearly the bottom - unable to "do the job" any more.

Awful. Unless youre popular youre nobody. The students are so bad and so much bullying goes on. Dont go here unless you are free of mental disorders, are rich, popular, and get straight A's. Nobody cares about you if youre not.

I graduated from Knappa in 2010. I had moved to Knappa from the Astoria school distract. I can honestly say that Knappa schools are a lot better than Astoria due to the fact that everyone is your friend and I felt more welcome. The sports are very competitive but so much fun. As for teachers, it just depends on your commitment to your studies. They do sometimes give a lot of homework but it is never hard. Overall a really great school in my opinion.
