My daughter started here after we had a house fire. And the only male person in her life passed away. They proceeded in suspending her for a rumor that turned out not to be true and said since she talked to her counselor about ghosts she must be schizophrenic. These are actual conversations I had with the school. She has became very depressed almost inconsolable at times. All because of pink hair and band shirts. It is dumb. And they don’t know how to do anything correctly School is crazy

If you are a parent of a special needs child with Autism, ADHD, or other emotional behaviors Do NOT send your child to Fairview school district! The school staff are NOT equipped to deal with children with these conditions. They do NOT follow the IEP that is put in place for the child and when this is brought to their attention in a meeting they stumble over their words.Things happened to my son and others like him at the high school that should never happen to any student let alone one with a special condition. They have no compassion. There are far too many inconsistencies with the so called special education program.

I am very concerned about my daughters education. Concerned with the quality of teachers along with the quality of work being assigned. They often bring home copy pages instead of textbooks for their lesson more often than not. I believe the school system is a little too focused on football and not focused enough on education, which is the primary purpose of school.
