I send my son to First Assembly Christian School because it is a Christian School. Learning about Jesus and how to treat others early in life is priceless. The classes are demanding, but that will help our children to prepare for College. I plan to continue to send my son to FACS if it's God's will.

It's sad to see people tear down this school. My children attend there. I volunteer as a parent all the time. You can't compare a private school not funded by the government to a public school. Yes you have to pay for everything. That being said if your student is in a class of eight kids, and that had to pay the teacher and supplies. That other post thinks the teacher should be paid about four thousand a year. I know the teachers there. They are only there because they want to make a difference. Trust me if it's money. They would be any where but there. My child is in K-5. Day one, not only did they start writing there letters but they were learning it in cursive. I would put my child against any K-5 child in any school in any school district anywhere in any subject. Plus you should check into all the awards like the state spelling bee, and the acedemic competions we enter. We either win or worst case scenario come in second. That's against all schools. It's a higher standard thing. Plus I do believe in God. I want my children educated with the Lord first and foremost. I hope this helps someone. "GOD BLESS"

"Excellent" my children have been in public school and other larger private schools and this one is by far the best one.

There are better schools, but not in this county. "Narrow minded/" Well . . . only if you believe that Christ should not be mentioned in schools, if prayer doesn't belong in schools and if students should not be required to toe the line.

Narrow minded, and suprisingly cheap as far as the parents have to provide every single thing at the school including the lunch, books and the uniforms. You would think that for the amount of the tuition, the school would furnish something! Everything is hand me downs. Where is the money going? The only reason I would see someone giving a good rating would be because the students make good grades whether they deserve them or not. But anyone who has dealt with 'private' schools knows the drill.
