This school primarily serves Spanish-speaking students, and in my experience, children who do not speak Spanish may feel like outsiders. Parents of non-Spanish-speaking children should consider this carefully. Additionally, I observed that some students of color may feel marginalized, and I hope the school can work to create a more inclusive environment. In my view, some 4th-grade teachers in 2023 seemed to show a stronger focus on Spanish-speaking students. At times, they appeared to take students’ reports at face value without thorough investigation. This has raised concerns about the consistency of support and inclusiveness for all students. There is one particular teacher that was really completely clueless and they made her the lead of the class (GLA) and she is terrible with a brain the size of a pea. I also noticed that some activities, like free dress days and certain events, require additional payments. This may be important for families to consider when budgeting for the school year.As always, it’s best for each family to assess if this school aligns with their values and expectations.

I taught Math at Pearland. When I saw my 1st pay check I left. I realized that this school depends on public donations as that it is not a regular school, it's a business. They can't afford people with my experience and qualifications. They hire people from Puerto Rico willing to take a low pay but who can't hardly speak academic English. They can't afford quality GT teachers. I'd your child is Gifted and Talented, keep them away from this school.

If you are looking to send your child to the Orem K8 campus, please run! The school looks good on paper but this campus is horrible!! Many parents start their children here but soon withdraw. The lower grades (K through 2nd) are ok but any grade above that is horrible. The teacher turnover rate is high, the teachers lack classroom management skills, the teachers lack cultural diversity skills, the teachers are rude to the children and say extremely disrespectful things, the staff are extremely punitive, they do not have a system to reward students' good behavior, just an electronic system to communicate issues, the teachers do not support students getting emotional support from the counselors, there are many uncertified and highly unprofessional staff that works at this campus with many of their family members, the leadership staff can't keep up with the issues, there are no extra curriculars for elementary age students...and the list goes on.....have you started running yet?

This has been a great school and experience for my 6 year old. My daughter is high functioning autistic and was receiving 200 minutes of SPED support at her previous school and in less than 1 month at her new school, she came off of it. We quickly realized that her prior behavioral issues were related to her not being challenged, and not only is she being challenged but she is also having fun! Highly recommend!

My children attend the Arlington K-8 campus, and have since Kindergarten. They are in 4th grade now. I am pulling them out of this school, ASAP. Teachers have no classroom management, whole classes are punished with physical detention at recess if some kids misbehave. Why are you punishing a child with exercise? Aren't we supposed to encourage them to be active and have fun at recess? They also have physical detention after school, running while a school AID VIDEOS the kids running. WHY WOULD YOU ALLOW A MAN TO VIDEO THESE KIDS?????? WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?????Teachers do not reply to emails, office staff does not reply to phone calls and emails. According to TEXAS Education Law, they operate very close to illegal on many points, but because they are a Charter School, if the Board votes to include physical punishment, for example, then they can do it. Please, for the sake of your children's mental and emotional well being, DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO ATTEND ILTEXAS.

Stay away! I wouldn’t put my dog there. They’ve over extended their ability to run so many schools. They are cheaply built and run by former marines most of whom have no experience in education. Nepotism is rampant.

We as family really enjoy this school. We have multiple kids and have been enrolled since 2015 spanning all grade levels. We love the trilingual focus. Having Spanish-speaking teachers from various countries gives our kids broader perspective. Also, the Chinese teachers bring their unique perspectives of their own culture and language to the classroom. The atmosphere feels like family and we have made wonderful friendships with our teachers and the school staff, as well as with the other students and their families. Like with any other school there are areas that could improve, but our overall experience has been good and we have chosen to stay.

Absolutely awful. We pulled my son out of this school, International Leadership Academy in Arlington, after barely 3 weeks of kindergarten there. He was dismissed, without asking, from school without us being present. Who dismisses a 5yr Old without proof of the parents or designated guardians being there? He was unaccounted for more than an hour and standing outside in 100° waiting on us. While not one adult teacher asked what he was doing. The school has done nothing to remedy this problem except a verbal apology. Emails have gone unanswered. Zero communication. Safety is not a priority, but their institution style prison school is. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!

The education was below average in my daughter's class. We looked into skipping her a grade. They gave her a practice staar test to take in a higher grade level. She scored academically advanced yet the councillor just complained that she didn't use her strategies on it and she took it too fast. Group punishments daily. No rewards for well behaved children while the misbehaving ones continued to misbehave. Physical punishments in PE that would actually cause my child to need Motrin at night. She is not a lazy child either and competes on a swim team. My youngest is receiving special education services. We constantly fought the school to follow her IEP. We are not talking a behavior issue, we are talking a vision impairment that required enlarging print. Punishing her for not finishing work by taking away recess. Again not a behavior problem a physical inability to complete word searches.

My 2nd grade son was enrolled here for a month. Suddenly a student started to bullying him and they didn't care, they said they will investigate and talked to him letting him know that he has to keep his hands to himself, guess what? It happened again 4 times, and they are still investivating, while so my son didn't want to go to school anymore. We change him to another school. Do not go there!

Our daughter has attended since it's opening, we've even been to to the meetings before the school was built. Our experience has been very positive. She's a great student, her education is challenged and the trilingual program is good. There's lots of diversity here with students and education. Love the Chinese language. That said its still developing and trying to transcend into being a great school. The school runs on a lottery system so you get an honest mix of the kind of students you get. Some learn at a faster pace others not. Some parents get involved and others don't. Parents have to make a difference, so we have a PTO that works very hard. Potential is here but if your not willing to work it won't turn out well. That also works on the school's drop off and pick up. Every year we get folks who don't do what their supposed to do and you get traffic or the police don't show up to direct traffic on one entrance, problem. Traffic light at the exits would work wonders. There ya go! We got room to grow!

My three children come home happy everyday. They have vibrant teachers and administrators. Starting Bilingual programs (English and Spanish) for kindergartens is the best. My 4th grader has been there for the third year and I don't see him learning too much in Spanish.
