My kiddo constantly got bullied by some first grade teachers. Consequently, when my child spoke up, my child would be reprehended. This school needs to be investigated. By far this was the worst experience for my child. Causing my child a great deal of anxiety and sadness. Due to all the mistreatment at this school. Unfortunately, principles here at this school cover up. Worst school, not sure if it was a color of my child skin, race or being a single parent, and not able to be at the school every day. As No parent should. They take advantage of the situation.This school is a thumbs down.

I noticed that that last review on this school was from 2019. I felt it needed a new one! We transferred my son to Dunn from another AISD charter school. That decision has single handedly been one of the best i've made for my son. He went from getting bullied and having academic problems. To having and making new friends and has been A/B honor roll all year. The Principal Ms. Burnett truly loves her student body and her job. You see it on her face every single day. The staff has been nothing but amazing and understanding with issues. My sons teacher also has a pretty good approach to home work. Coming from a mom who's son has ADHD and has an IEP plan finding a good school can be really hard but we feel at home at Dunn so far.

4. They only get that score because of my child previous teachers. They were very informative and willing to go the extra step to educate my child. They showed compassion for kids with a disability.

TERRIBLE! This school needs a new principal, needs an unbiased 3rd party to investigate the allegations and accusations currently ongoing at this school, because if you leave it up to the principal she will just put it under the rug and try to ignore any and all issues due to the fact that she has NOT A CLUE on how to be an administrator!!

We love Dunn Elementary! The teachers truly care for their students and want them to succeed. We have gone through the process to get my daughter diagnosed with several issues in order to get her the accommodations and assistance she needs and while the process is long - the faculty and staff were amazingly patient and helpful. The PTA is super great and provides a lot of fun and goodies for the school! The yearly carnival is an event we look forward to each year! Bottom line, my daughters love this school and its easy to see why. Our principal is out every morning greeting the students by name, and that's not something you see everywhere. We love Dunn!

Dunn Elementary is an amazing school. The teachers and staff go above and beyond the call of duty to allow each student to reach their highest potential. On any given day you can find the Principal and Vice Principal directing traffic, walking kids to class, encouraging students, and greeting everyone they see with a welcoming smile. There is also a fantastic PTA that is extremely active on campus at Dunn. I cannot say enough good things about Dunn Elementary!

Dunn has an amazing administration with a constant presence on the campus. Teachers are very experienced and interested in the students' education. As far as a few issues we've had over the years, the principal has been quick to respond. My kids have placed well in state competitions and had a great experience at Dunn.

My grandsons have both gone to Dunn since they started school. I have nothing but high praise for the teachers and staff of Dunn . They make learning fun and exciting, and the boys both love to go to school. I give Dunn top marks in my book.
