I have a minority child in this school and I would not recommend sending your minority child. He has been bullied for the color of his skin, his self-esteem is at an all time low, and he is discriminated against.

My child has been a target of bullying here and the only consequences the other children faced has been a simple talk to. I think their parents should be informed also. The teachers seem to be caring and kindhearted but the principal was extremely rude to us when I brought my child in late. Academically my child has thrived in the 3 years of attending this school. I would like to see public schools incorporating subjects tailored to the child’s interest.

Our experience has been disappointing, and we have actually found that the materials taught in class are behind those of neighboring/larger districts.

The leadership is not good, seem to be in way over their heads. Teachers are ok. Parents are very snobby. Bullies are not punished, especially if they play sports or mom/dad work in AISD. Removed my kids ASAP and they are much happier and better off academically.

Glad it's my child's last year . Principal very rude, school focuses more on favorites and wealthy ones. Most can't afford to buy a home here, and principal made sure close , open enrollment to less fortunate. Safe your time and find a better more humble school.

Argyle ISD is wonderful. You won't be disappointed in these schools if you are looking for a very competitive atmosphere in academics and athletics. We were in the district for 4 years and we were constantly amazed at the parent involvement, level of academics, extra-curricular activities, etc. It is a district full of many wealthy families therefore there are many students who get everything they want and more...which would have been more impactful on our children had we stayed through their middle and high school years. We are simply trying to teach our kids that we aren't entitled to things just because we want them! Which can be more of an uphill battle in more affluent areas. However, we felt that the positives of this district FAR out-weighed the negatives.

The teachers and counselors are awesome, but the principal seems to have a bad attitude. Does not seem approachable, unless you are one of the in parents.

So disappointed in this school. It continues to be the underachiver in the district. The inexperience of the current principal and past principal is having such a negative impact. Poorly run and the focus seems to be on popular and not on the childerens education. Already moved mine to the charter school, even though I loved many of the teachers.

I absolutely adore this school! The teachers and principal/ assistant principal and councelor are wonderful, caring people. I could not be happier. They test for dyslexia in K and 1st grade! This is unheard of!!!
