I would like to start by saying its been a really really stressful year at my sons school. The expectations for the students was laid out very well however not so much for some of the teachers and administration. I would have to say that when my son would come home with a frown in his bee book it was not a good afternoon. We would ask what caused him to struggle he would say that other students would distract him while he was trying to do his schoolwork. He would come home and tell us that kids were trying to take his computer or throw things at him and he would be the one getting in trouble for defending himself by telling them to stop. The last straw was the administration saying that he's the problem and making a false claims on my son without actually proving to us that he did anything. All the claims were hearsay by students and the teachers reacting to their favorite students. I saw a lot of bias and favouritism and I really think the factually needs training and some removed from the school itself.

Oxford school system is the best in the area. My children had excellent experiences here. Highly recommend. Great parent involvement.

We were led to move into the area for a job opportunity. We have three boys all in elementary school. We really like De Armanville. The teachers are nice and our children all had A's and B's this past semester. The staff really cares about your children. Starting in fourth grade every student gets their own Mac Book to learn on. That is such a vital tool to have since so much of real life has to deal with computers.
