Overall I really liked going to school at Northeast. The environment was really great to learn in and I found all of my teachers nice, helpful and understanding.

I come from an area where a private school could cost $30,000 a year for a single grade school child. This school beats that hands down.

This school offers great teachers that can identify potential problems with students and create a learning plan to assist them in reaching their full potential. The amount of parent involvement is simply amazing. To see so many dedicated parents volunteer their time to help the community is wonderful. In terms of public education in the Des Moines metro area, you simply won't find a better school or district.

Positives - clean and organized Negatives - we were hoping our child would get a better education in the Ankeny school district and that has not been our experience at this school. We have not been impressed with the staff and wish we would've made a better selection for our child. I agree with the other reviewer that this is not a positive learning environment. We are disappointed to say the least.
