I have worked for this district on and off for the past 5 years. My 5 children attend the district as well and their teachers have been amazing throughout their years at the primary school. The teachers and staff are very supportive and willing to help and accommodate to all students. I am very proud to be a LAKER!

I love Pymatuning Valley. My husband and I both graduated from PV Now our 2 children attend. Beyond academics Pymatuning offers a safe place for our children and a community that loves our children. These teachers and principles support their students inside and outside the classroom at sporting events or attending important community events. PRIDE and being a LAKER is instilled into all students.

This school does not care for its students or what needs to be done. It does the bare minimum: educating students just below the state requirements.

A few days ago, I was asked about what's good about the school, and I couldn't find anything but my friends. There are a few good teachers, but there are far more hateful teachers and staff. I was bullied by my own coach for Jr. High volleyball, and she encouraged the other girls to be mean to me too. They are horrible communicators as many events happened that we didn't know about, and there were many conflicts in schedule that the staff said they would work out and didn't. They hold back the gifted kids and won't help the kids below grade level. Mediocre at best. If you can, don't send your kids to PV.

The Pymatuning Valley Local School district is honestly one of the absolute worst school districts I have ever dealt with. The staff is so/so but as for the students and parents...well, I'm honestly having a hard time even finding the right words to be able to describe them. The parents are supposed to be responsible for setting the example for their children and one can't expect much when you have parents who act like children themselves! The gossip and hypocrisy in that town is astounding. Very frivolous, immoral and pretentious people.

These reviews are old and outdated. The district has built new schools and they are doing well with the state testing scores They have had a change in administration Supintendent and Principals and they are very responsive to student issues. As for the parents that complain about the teachers and staff expecting to much from their children ????? Send them elsewhere so the can become zombie drones and stop expecting the schools to be a baby sitting service for you and your innocent little darlings.Great schools require active and good parents not whiners.
