I've taught at eCademy for 5 years and I love it! It's the perfect blend of online education with in-person opportunities for homeschool families. Teachers have the opportunity to work with students in small groups and students get more individualized instruction. We are open to anyone that lives in Kansas, so the instuction can be done all online with the help of a learning coach or parent at home. There are optional in person activities for grades K-12. For example, elementary has in-house days, Eagle Explorations/Club Days, specials, field trips, and more! The students and teachers are amazing at eCademy!

eCademy is a beautiful blend of a homeschool environment with social opportunities for students. The experience at eCademy is unique because we have k-12 students in our building throughout the week. We invite all families to participate in our in-house or field trip opportunities several times a year.

Very friendly staff, the teachers have adapted the curriculum to meet our needs. We were going to homeschool but this allows us to have the freedom of that while also providing social opportunities.

At a time when many parents in today’s world feel disconnected from their children’s education, Andover eCademy parents are embraced and welcomed. Parents serve as “learning coaches” with full access to their students’ courses/curriculum, grades and teaching. Learning coaches are guided by trained, compassionate professionals. Parents, teachers and students work hand in hand together. AMAZINGLY, any student from the STATE OF KANSAS can enjoy a flexible, quality education through Andover eCademy given their incorporation of remote learning, combined with in school options.

eCademy's school structure allows for creativity and innovation in education. Being able to utlize quality curriculum and resourceful teachers (both online and in person) have enhanced the learning experience. The flexibility of creating a schedule that works best for our student has allowed for applicable real-world opportunities to be integrated into daily life. eCademy is all the best parts of school.

Ecademy is the perfect blend of homeschool, public school, and co-op for parents who want to be involved in the daily education of their child. The flexibility to complete assignments at own pace and schedule is important to us and we are able to work around many obstacles in our family schedule that would normally drive me crazy in a traditional 8-3 school setting. I love working with my child and knowing what they are learning while also having experienced and caring teachers who will provide support and extra materials after shooting them a simple email. My son loves the in-person days and Ecademy has many awesome learning opportunity like Art and Stem days. Ecademy provides the socialization and structure that my son needs. Overall, it´s been a great experience and I´m so glad we found this school!

Our daughter transferred to e-Academy to finish out her last semester of high school. She was welcomed in warmly by the faculty and staff. It has allowed her the opportunity to be more self-sufficient and focus on her future.

eCademy has been a lifesaver for our family! Our kiddo had some major anxiety issues while at brick and mortar school, especially going from half days to full days. We were introduced to eCademy by our then principal that spoke highly of the staff and eCademy school. We have been here almost 3 years now and the change it has made for our child is unbelievable. Her personality has flourished right along with her confidence. I would not change it for the world. We love eCademy and everyone that works there!! I would recommend them to anyone who is willing to listen. I can not say enough good things!

Andover eCademy has been a saving grace for my son. He's been bored in traditional school settings since he began at age 5. Finally, at age 15, he is enjoying school. He states the teachers seem to care much more than traditional school teachers ever did. It has been a learning curve, but that's also how life works.

Andover eCadamy offers the best of both worlds with the flexibility of homeschooling yet also providing the opportunities for in-house/in-person learning and activities. You can tell that everyone from the front office to the paras and teachers really care about the students and want to see everyone be successful.

Andover Ecademy has been such an amazing experience for transitioning from traditional homeschooling. My son is in 4th grade with Mrs. Travis. We have slightly unique situation where my son has spilt custody with his dad and stepmom. Mrs. Travis is great about including my sons stepmom on emails and communications so they can have immediate knowledge of any changes or expectations, without me having to remember to tell them everything myself. I love that I still get to oversee his schooling while getting all of the benefits of traditional schooling. They have plays, school activities such as field trips and in school learning days, and social/fun experiences for all the kids to meet socially if they want to. The curriculum is very easy to follow but still challenging for my son. I truly feel like he is learning so much. I love the support from the teacher's, if we have questions or concerns the staff is always helpful. The front office and support staff are also great! They are so helpful with troubleshooting if something goes wrong with the software. There are weekly updates that get sent to all parents so we know what is coming up soon. Overall the school is fantastic and I highly recommend it.

Why student has attended this school for years now, and engages special education services. It has at times been a struggle to get what we need overall or in a timely fashion, and has required stronger advocacy work than many parents may be ready for. I don’t know what it is like in other schools, I just know the amount of effort I have put forth as an educated individual in this regard, supported by multiple providers versed in this area. The teachers seem excellent, though I sometimes wish there were more integration of teaching skills with the purchased curriculum. There have been gaps in knowledge but I believe they are being addressed, as I feel the principal is on the same wavelength regarding student needs (emotionally and educationally.) I feel capable of always reaching out and finding a way to be heard and reaching resolution somehow, which we did not find at our last school whatsoever (Derby district). So while, yes, there are always things to improve, we will not be moving elsewhere and I look forward to seeing growth (both with my student and the facility) continue with this school.
