    Ottawa Area Center is a school for special needs children. The class rooms are layout depending on the severity of the child's disabilities. The teachers and staff are friendly, caring and patient. Once you get to know them you will have a peace of mind knowing your child is in good hands during the school day. During the school year the kids have opportunity to swim, have interaction with animals from petting them to riding a horse all done with great assistance to always ensure the kids safety. Busing to and from home is much appreciated. The busses have wheelchair lifts, safety harness and staff aids that assist the driver during transportation. Just an overall great place to help parents and the kids navigate and balance life s responsibility s.
