The principal has no leadership skills. She declared herself "an educator, not a disciplinarian", failing to realize the two are connected. Because the staff largely follows a very structured, teacher-driven education method and the principal is all about student empowerment, there is very little mutual respect. There is no admin support for strict classroom discipline, so bullying, theft, and other power driven behaviors are the norm. Everyone seems angry here.

This use to be a nice school but it has no leadership, bullying, and now those children are a year or more behind from other elementary schools. You will only be hurting your children if you send them there. If you can't move or change to another school then stand up for these kids and say we need to clean house and find true leaders. That will teach to our children and not to a state test. It's sad that William Penn has allowed this once great school go up in flames these past 4 years.
