The principal is awful especially to female staff members. She is very unprofessional and fails to protect the safety of her students in incidents of physical abuse. She has bullied many staff members into leaving the school, even her own assistant principals. She went through 3 assistants in my five years there, 2 of the years did not have an assistant. She often has conflict with parents and families and treats them and pretty much everyone (except for some of the male teachers) inferior and often treats her staff like children.

The school principal's behavior is very unprofessional, particularly in their disregard for special education programs and students. This neglect is concerning and raises questions about the school's commitment to providing equitable education to all students, regardless of their learning needs. The perceived unwelcoming demeanor of the office administration contributes to a negative atmosphere that can impact staff morale and parental engagement. A warm and supportive school environment is essential for having positive relationships and promoting student success which this school staff lack! This school NEVER does anything to address bulling situations!

My only issue with this school is the principle. It should be a priority for her to educate herself on the DSM 5 in order to have a clearer understanding of the children with disabilities. She gives no empathy or support to the children with unseen disabilities. The teacher's on the other hand have all been so kind and supportive to the children. We really appreciate the SpEd teachers, IEP team and the secretaries. Thank you for being a support system we can count on.

My experience here at Pajarito has been depressing and dissapointing. My kid has fallen behind due to the loss of teachers the school has had. In the last several years shes been there. Currently my child is in a class mixed with other grades and has not received homework and states that they have a different sub with no consistency in education according to their grade. Spoke to the principal about this and she dismissed my concerns and told me my child was stressed because of social media, and not the inconsistency of her education. To do better at home with her. I am beyond in disbelief with the leadership of this school!!

My daughter graduated from the Pajarito Academy 10 plus years back. She attended Pajarito from the 1st grade and now have a Grand-daughter there in the 1st grade. She is thriving, reading at a high level and overall doing very well. I have found the 3 teachers we've met to be quite competent. I was very involved with the school and education of my daughter when she attended. Now I am a grandma and not in the best health, I don't make an appearance near as often as I would like. I appreciate all the parents that still do their best for the best of the kids. I hope the best for this little school. My sincere hope is that students will be prepared for Junior High when they move on.
