I would not recommend this school. They do not interact with the community any more. They do not provide extra help for kids. They are only there to get your money and try to keep school doors open. Kids are scared of certain teachers and especially the new principle. I’m surprised the principal isn’t slapping their hands with rulers im sure she would if she could.

St. Pius has been a home to my 3 children for over 7 years! The curriculum is academically challenging but the instruction is fun. The class sizes lend themselves to really individualized attention of the students and the teachers are compassionate and caring. My youngest just graduated Pre_k and will be entering K in the Fall. I am confident that his teachers taught him all he needs to be prepared while also promoting an environment of respect, love and kindness. It is really special to be a part of school that still enjoys concerts and Spirit Day, promoting faith and service.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for preschool. The teachers care for these children like they are their own! Despite a challenging year due to the pandemic, my child looked forward to going to school each day.

My two youngest attended St. Pius for preschool. Loved the experience. Truly loving and caring teachers. Thrilled with the amount they learned. Our family has a St. Pius graduate as well as a soon to be Kindergartener and second grader.

Our son has been in St. Pius X School since Pre-K. We have been very pleased with the focus on traditional educational standards and the Catholic faith. There is no comparison with public schools, St. Pius stands heads and shoulders above all local public schools. Very highly recommended.

We love St Pius X School. My son has been attending St Pius since KG and he has been having a wonderful experience. My son is now in forth grade and we would do it all over again. Faculty and staff are superb. Family!!!

St. Pius has been excellent. My daughter has had a wonderful experience. Throughout the pandemic, they have been innovative and really thought outside the box to provide a happy and safe school environment for the kids.

In a year like no other, the teachers, admin and school community helped to make our child’s first year of school a great one. The pre-K 3 classroom was full school lessons, life lessons and lots and lots of fun!

In the 2020-2021 school year, I chose to keep my child remote, and the experience with St Pius has been outstanding. He is a Kindergartener with an IEP, and he’ll repeat K in person next year. The school has been incredibly accommodating and supportive of our family’s, and especially his, needs during these times, and I am here first and foremost to say how excellent his IEP services have been at St Pius. His resource and speech teacher have both been able to stay flexible and have even changed schedules to see him in person as we’ve been able to be vaccinated, and he’s made strong relationships and tons of progress this year with them, and his OT as well. The K curriculum has also been great, and I ended up appreciating the religion parts of it even more than I thought I would for the values those lessons taught. His K teacher has been very loving and supportive not only of him, but of me as well, which meant so much this year. Everyone has been excellent at emphasizing his strengths and helping to build his confidence this year. I would absolutely recommend St Pius to anyone who asked.

My daughter attended St Pius X from Kindergarten to the present (6th grade). I have found this to be a wonderful school. Her teacher have been great with the kids and very responsive to me as a parent. My daughter has received an excellent education. During the time of the COVID pandemic, I have been so grateful that she had in person learning. I was critical for her development to me in school. Strongly recommend the school.

I have had three children attend St. Pius X and all had a wonderful experience. I cannot say enough about the school. It is a warm and caring community with outstanding teachers. I am very picky about academic quality, and St. Pius X exceeded my expectations.

I am the parent of 3 children—2 are still at St Pius and 1 has graduated (now in highschool). All 3 of my children began in prek. I can now say, more than a decade after making the decision to send my oldest son there, that St Pius has been an outstanding experience. My children are academically challenged, and constantly learning in new ways. The teachers and administrators are accessible, dynamic and communicate regularly. Most importantly, my children have learned a tremendous sense of responsibility and community. Bottom line: it’s a great school.

Very happy with the level of education our children have received. There is the added benefit of being taught to think of others as part of school. In particular, we have been thrilled with St.Pius’ response during this COVID time frame. Our children continue to love school. The teachers clearly love their profession and the children they teach.

As a parent of 5 St. Pius graduates, I continually observe the same excellent standards with academics and the teaching of values that I believe helped to give each of them a strong foundation. The administrative and teaching staff are very hard working and care about the success of each student.Sending my children to St. Pius was a great decision!!

We always planned to send our son to SPX School when he turned 3. Now that he’s finishing up his first year in Pre-K3, we can say our expectations have been exceeded in every way! Not only was the response to the pandemic and keeping our kids safe and IN school amazing, but his growth and maturity has been incredible. The environment is nurturing & loving all while teaching the kids accountability and responsibility. The foundation of faith is very important to our family and our little guy being able to talk about Easter being “more than the bunny and eggs” is just one of the many things that has surprised us! We are so lucky to call the SPX community home for our children’s Pre-K through 8 education.

St Pius X school has been a fantastic fit for our family. My eldest child started Pre-K in 2018 and is now finishing first grade. Younger sibling is excited to begin Pre-K next fall. The SPX school community is tremendously caring and welcoming. It seems like every adult in the school knows my child, though only a few actually teach 1st graders! The teachers go above and beyond to provide the best education for each child, whether they are working above grade level or needing extra help. It’s also nice to see that they adjust classes each year to ensure the best ratio of students to teachers.Communication is excellent, and they have truly made lemonade from lemons by integrating effective technology into their curriculum to support students (and parents) during this bizarre 2020-2021 COVID year. Finally, we appreciate the wide variety of arts and special subjects that are offered, and put child loves going to EVERY “special” 2-3 times each week - not just once, like many elementary schools. My child also wants me to tell you “the playground is great.”

We relocated to the area mid year and St Pius X welcomed our daughter with open arms. I am amazed how much she has learned in a couple months.
