This school has NO implemented policy or prevention programs in place to help address the problem of Bullying and Harassment by other kids who have an agenda to dominate a child who has a name or belief that easily can draw ridicule and defamation from individuals or groups of kids who pray on the weaknesses of the kids who do NOT have the ability to defend themselves because of their size or the sheer number of opponents that child would have to face. This school is supposed to have a protocol that involves the filing of an incident report on Synergy and then a full investigation which includes interviews of the kids involved in the incident and interviews of the teachers and staffers that were supposed to be watching the kids and interviews of ALL witnesses to the incident. The fact that the Principle of this school takes the sole word of a teacher that did NOT witness the incident and did NOT interview the victim of the Bullying and did NOT notify the parents of the victim as to action the Principal was about to administer to the victim NOT the perpetrator is a total breakdown of a system that is supposed to help the kids who are Bullied deal with the serious mental issues that come from being on the receiving end of the Bullying. After consulting with legal experts who deal with these types of claims it is VERY apparent that this school could and probably will end up with legal fees and claims that without a doubt will be settled out of court to avoid the embarrassing predicament that this Principal and teacher has unduly put on this school district. This school district has to evaluate the value of such a liability verses finding more programs and discussions with the kids in the school to educate and inform them that there is a ZERO tolerance of this kind of behavior.

Amazing school with great teachers and staff with amazing afterschool programs. My one child attended 2-5th grade and my second k-2 and every teacher was great.
