As somebody who attends this school, this is by far one of the worst schools ive been to, there is to many fights way to much bullying and the teachers and principal just don't care, I have always enjoyed going to school, but not this one though, I recommend that you don't send your kid here, believe me you will regret it, at my first year in this school I was already being picked on and it was always so hard to concentrate on my work and it really effected my grades, ao far since i've been there 10 kids left and im about to be one of them I cannot stand it anymore, kids were going around stabbing other kids with pencils and making tiktoks about it, every single morning we have to walk through a metal detector to make sure nobody is carrying weapons, it's just crazy....Please I beg you, DO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE!!!

Not sure good school at all.yhe teachers aren't informative, at all. The ladies in the office are very rude except for maybe one.. the principal that I've met, have been very rude. You met with her she'll talk over you THEE ENTIRE TIME! Never really resolving the "issue" had her last year, dealing with her is kinda exhausting.. and I had an none problematic kid. Good grades and all. One of the issue we've had were about bullying. Just no real help. Too many kids, not enough teachers who truly care.

In the three years that my oldest daughter had been going to Innes, the 2014-15 year was the worst. Mostly do to the new principle. My child was suspended for a very poor reason, then after returning was punished for things and taken from programs for no good reason. My daughter has never caused any trouble, did good in all her classes and was loved by all he teachers. The school board would never speak to me directly but would always go straight to the principal when I had a problem which would seem to only make my daughters issues even worse. So I told my child to just ignore the issues the best she could. It took almost a year before the principal moved on and stopped harassing my child. I still have another child in Innes for her 8th grade year. If this principle is still there I hope she leaves her alone. I'm not looking forward to another stressful year. Also, I am not please with the lack of homework. They never issued any, and their excuse was that they knew the students wouldn't do it, do they didn't give homework.

I personally witnessed the lack of leadership this building has. The school has declined in test scores and students since 2010. Parents are sending their children to other schools and so should you. My son was bullied constantly and it required me contacting the school board in order to demand a meeting with the principal.
