My Son went to Madison for kindergarten, first and some of second grade. We both loved it. The teachers and very dedicated to the students and to their success. I can not say enough good things about this school!!

There are several things I would like to say about this school. First of all, I had gone to this school my whole life and it is so different compared to back then and not in a good way. The male principle is horrid. It seems he gets a kick out of punishing kids for the most simplest things. My son had amazing pre-k and kindergarten teachers but once he reached first grade his participation in school plummeted. His self esteem dropped dramatically and he said he was not being bullied but in my eyes he was bullied by his teacher. She was very cruel to my son and he has never fully bounced back from her treatment. He now thinks that teachers will always treat him badly and dislike him. His second grade teacher was an improvement but not by much. They need to revamp their teachers and keep the ones who actually care about the children. As far as I'm concerned he is not returning to Madison this year and is attending a school that will help work to change his opinion of school and teachers and rebuild his self esteem that was crushed at such a young impressionable age.

I love Madison! My daughter and I have gone to the playgroup since she was 4 months old and she is now 5 and in the young fives program all day...I miss playgroup a little but thankfully we can still go on Monday evenings after school. I don't know what I would have done without the program as I had only moved to MI from FL when I was pregnant with my daughter and didn't know anyone around here...and had none of my family to help me adjust to being a first time mom..this group took me in and I became a part of the "playgroup family" and this has just not only touched my heart it has helped me to be more involved in my daughter's life which has progressed into me being involved with the school more and more. I also love the parent involvement activities that are planned at Madison a lot of fun and also learning activities!! I also really like that they try to instill in the children a set of core values for life!
