This school has been nothing but a headache. Even if you take the school a copy of your child's transcripts so they can put their credits in they will lose them. My child has been told she will not graduate because they still have not put her transcripts in and it's been a year. Ridiculous. If you try to take care of it the staff plays the blame game. It's not their job it's not their fault and still nothing g gets done. They have a journalist class that is not a class the student gets credit for taking journalism and just sits in the class and texts or hangs out. The teacher says that they use that class to work on yearbook! Oh and if you order a year book you won't get it until the next year. There are a few good teachers but most are there to get a paycheck. Make sure your child has exec change for lunch because when they pay and they don't the lady will tell them she will add it to their account... well it never gets on there so now your child goes without lunch. Awful school my child got a better education online. With this school we should just go get her GED. This school is just a teenage hangout.

The teachers are very caring at Cook High. They treat the kids as individuals and give them opportunities to be creative with their work. The theater program at Cook is excellent. Our kids loved it.
