This video of Washington, D.C. brings time lapses to a whole new level. Shot in HDR, the vibrant colors and pop-out imagery have our nation’s capital totally bursting with life.

I took a pause at 1:25 to stake out the Capitol looking as majestic as ever, even between throngs of heavy traffic and touristy segway groups. And with a soundtrack as epic as the District itself, what more could you ask for?
