Lynch said Columbia “attracts many young couples with children seeking the best educational opportunities” thanks to the highly acclaimed Howard County Public School System. Lynch also mentioned the multiple lakes, walking trails, parks, and outdoor concert arena, the Merriweather Post Pavilion, as well as the “amazing array of fine dining and sports venues.”

Then, we ranked each Baltimore suburb in the above categories and averaged the scores into one overall score. The suburbs with the lowest overall scores made up our 10 best Baltimore suburbs for young couples.
