Winter may be Aspen’s most celebrated season, but this time lapse of the Colorado city went ahead and crashed that party. If you want to catch Aspen at its best, see it without (much) snow. Bright blue skies and verdant ski slopes are the backdrop to outdoor excursions filled with warm summer light. You’ll still catch glimpses of snow patches in frames of mountain peaks shadowed by rolling clouds, but in the city, al fresco meals and sandal-appropriate activities abound.
