This is perfect!
Agreed. #8 is definitely Bernal, not Twin Peaks. But all are lovely.
If only all the smug yuppies would leave SF, it would be a more interesting city.
simply amazing photography… as a photojournalism lecturer at the University of calabar in Nigeria, i find the images to be very useful to my tourism documentary students
Picture 1 is from Yerba Buena Island, not even close to Berkeley.
Picture 4 is a few blocks away from, not at, the Ferry Building.
Picture 20 is of the Painted Ladies on Steiner Street. There are many hundreds more all over town.
Picture 22 is probably of Sutro Forest, possibly Sutro Heights but not the non-existent Sutro Park.
I loved these artistic photos with a crisp graphic quality to them, representing the old and the new
architecture. Did we all leave a bit of our hearts there?
It will always be my city… Because I grew up with all of these images and love the city dearly. However, it’s become less of a place for artists, inventors and musicians than ever in it’s history. We have all moved on to places that are not inundated by high tech bullshit, because that thinking created more of the same… More computer programming mentality led to more robotic music / art, and less appreciation for true creative forms of art. The beauty of SF has been hijacked by those who have claimed it as their own. But, it will redefine itself in it’s own time, when it’s ready, without all the frilly “new tech idea” marketing nonsense.
Yeah, because everyone in SF goes to Alcatraz… lol
Please don’t damn tourists. Kindly remove. I know the people of SFO to be kind and friendly. Thanks!
Been there done all that! I miss San Francisco a lot, especially after living there for 19 years, I ♥ Rio De Janeiro
I love Fransansisco! it’a a beautidul city!
To crowded for me. But, beautiful. I find Californians rude and uncaring. Spent 5 years there. The Spanish most friendly. Thanks for that.
What happened to all of the hippy freaks and sex perverts???
Thanks God for San Francisco.Definitely beautiful and unique city.
San Francisco is a great and beautiful city, I will love to go there someday
