21648 E Holiday Rd, Texico, IL 62889

In the northwest corner of Jefferson County lies this 20 acre parcel on a corner location at Holiday and Sanddrift. Mostly wooded with a few clearings, a pond and two creeks that merge into one this is robust hunting ground. Deer are drawn onto the parcel by a grove of pecan trees and other food sources. Once in CRP the land is certified ''organic'' and the Sellers are told can be returned into the program. Utilities and a septic tank are available on the property and previously serviced the abandoned (and uninhabitable) home that sits on the property. The Sellers hand-planted a large number of saplings many years ago that have now matured and offer timber income potential. The property is serviced by a Texico postal address but in some circumstances is listed under a Keenes location.
