Prew is a 6th grade - 12th grade school that provides a family type of environment. Teachers offer a firm but empathetic approach towards their students. The small classroom setting offers each student to receive individualized attention. Students can feel secure in their surroundings due to the open door policy. I highly recommend this school to all families with children searching for an academic environment that cultivates success building.

Three of my children attend this school. Two of them have graduated one of them was valedictorian. I can say all of my kids are happy to goto Prew. Its a family atmosphere. A small safe school where each student can become the best they can be.

Prew differentiates instruction to meet the needs of students with various learning differences. There are students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, Asperger's, and auditory processing issues. Students feel safe at Prew and enjoy going to school. My daughter loves it, and this is the 3rd school we have tried. Is it as academically rigorous as other private schools in the area? Maybe not as rigorous as some. But, I'd rather have a happy kid who loves school and learning than one who is miserable and equates learning with bullying and intellectual despair. Is the Prew campus a bright and shiny modern marvel? No way. But the tuition fees are astoundingly low for the student-teacher ratio, so I figure the $ is not going into campus improvements -- it's going to teachers and staff who have the kids' best interests at heart.

I am an alumni as well as a parent. When I enrolled my son in this school I had the highest hopes for his academic future because of my previous personal experience was exceptional. HOWEVER what I found is a school that is quite the opposite to the prestigious and quality education that Prew was when the McGaw's owned it. Where do I begin? The facility overall is very tattered and in disrepair with the second story class rooms plywood floors, and toilets not working, reminds me of a place that is rundown waiting to be condemned. The books they use are just as torn and tattered, certainly not up to date.... some books have been there since I graduated in the 80's. I was told that my son was making all A's and B's! WOW so amazing, but right before I chose to remove him from the school, they told me that the teachers were doing all the work for him including taking tests for him! They harbor the bullies, keeping them I am assuming because of money. I am disheartened and sickened by what Prew has become.
