My son is halfway through his junior year at Karafin, and we all agree it's the best school he's ever attended. The class sizes are small and quiet (6-1-1), and the staff and teachers are kind, encouraging and compassionate. My son's been able to take everything from AP classes to gym, computers, art and music. He's happy there, and he looks forward to going each day. He particularly loves his music classes, where he's picked up playing the piano quickly. He enjoys playing it so much, in fact, that he spends quite a bit of time composing his own music at home. Karafin truly is a place that challenges and encourages my son to be best person he can be. And they're helping him get ready for the next step...college!

My son has only been in the Karafin school for about 4 mths and he has never been happier. He made a lot of friends and has a social life again. The staff is wonderful and very caring. The class sizes are very small which is great because the students get so much attention and are finally able to learn. They really make the students feel good about themselves and the teachers and staff are always willing to help the students . They want them to pass and they do donot overload them with homework. My son actually passed every subject on his first marking period. My son said he feels as comfortable in the Karafin school as he feels at home...Ithink that says it all. I wish I would have found the Karafin school years ago, but better late then never. It's well worth the trip and the bus service is great too. We looked at many schools and The Karafin school was our choice and the best choice so far. Good luck to all the parents and students I know its stressful looking for a school. I hope one day you are as happy as we are in finding a great school.

Parent involvement in higher level education is always challenging. The Head of School and staff are committed to students. My child has thrived here.
