Our family has had a positive experience at this school. The teachers and staff care a great deal about the academic and emotional growth of our children.

At the end of the year I asked my daughter how she thought the year went. She said she probably would have learned just as much by reading the cereal box every morning. The teachers don't really teach they hand out assignments and grade them.

There are a few different issues and temperments at this school. On one hand, you have regular easy-going school days when nothing much happens. Then on other days, you have police raids daily or racially driven negative comments and extreme bullying. The principals and superintendent don't know how to manage this school and its bad students. Good students are punished for the behavior of the bad ones. This school is in shambles from the management and curriculum to the non-existent air-conditioning when they have to dismiss class for not having it. Don't even get me started with the lack of homework. Definitely would not recommend...

I had never heard good things about this school and was dreading when we moved to the area with our second grader..... But I was pleasantly surprised. My child is very smart and has never made anything other than A+s on everything up until this school. It is refreshing to see some B's come home. His work is a challenge for him (trust me, some homework even makes me have to think).... a challenge in a good way. Its not "too easy" for him. His teacher is wonderful, but we may have just got lucky. I have some complaints about the way they do lunches, but nothing to terrible. Our speech therapist also told me that Their preschool is even better than the nearby larger schools. There is alot of low income families in this town . So there is a very wide mix of students. I am glad that we gave the school a chance, and I think it is a clean, well-run institution.

I am very dissappointed with this school. I do not recomend going here at all. The teachers don't care. They are only there for the paycheck.
