We've moved around quite a bit, and this is by far the worst school my children have attended. All the school cares about is test scores and the money get for attendance.

I have been very happy with this school from the principal to the teachers. My children have excelled and score high on all benchmark tests, which proves that they are getting a quality education. Even though the class sizes have been large, because it is a small community you quickly get to know everyone. I never feel like my kids are "just a number". Almost every school year I feel like I wish I could package up their teacher and keep them forever because it feels like they are perfect for my kids! There are a lot of activities going on continually like monthly school assemblies where they award the student of the month and perfect attendance, and other activities like a talent show and a cinco de mayo festival with games and food to purchase to help raise money for extra curricular activities. They even have National Elementary Honor Society, something that not every elementary school offers. Even though I am sad that this school has a rating of only 2 from Great Schools which is based on test scores only, if you find yoursef in Blythe don't count MW out. The parents, teachers, and principal work together to make this school much better than what test scores can reflect!
