My daughter went here and did not learn a single thing, The issue here is they told us it was her fault for not paying attention, but these teachers have no degrees, no certification or any credibility in what they teach. This school is around 20,000 dollars a year, that is far more than ANY accredited program. I cant believe they charge this much for so little education. No counselors are avalanches, the teachers and Ariel told my daughter to just talk to Dave (a male teacher) and when my daughter said she didn’t feel comfortable with him she was judged harshly and told that she would just have to deal with it then. I think this is completely unacceptable, especially because of the insane price tag. There’s so many better schools in and around austin.

After living in Nashville of 20+ years we moved to Austin in 2014, and Skybridge Academy was a large part of our decision to make that big move. After spending his first 5 years in a very competitive independent private school in Nashville, our son was stressed out and unfulfilled. He was not being encouraged to follow his dreams and work towards his full potential, instead he was being pushed to conform to the expectations of tests, high speed teaching and competition with his classmates. We had been looking all over the county for a school that would truly meet his needs to work at his level of learning while allowing him to further explore his passion for the arts and computers. After meeting with Ariel and Nishi for one hour, we knew that we had found the perfect place for our child to soar. Ariel's vision and intuition surrounding her educational philosophy enable her to hire amazing teachers that inspire our son to be his best self in and out of the classroom. We have never seen him happier and more energetic about his studies, and we know that he will be able to tap in to a place where he can have the confidence to follow his dreams after being at Skybridge.

Skybridge is one of the few places that takes time to address each students learning style. My son did a complete turn around academically and socially. I can attribute this all to the staff and leadership at Skybridge

Skybridge Academy is a phenomenal school! After homeschooling/unschooling our two children for 14 years, we found Skybridge. It has exceeded our expectations. ALL of the teachers are exceptional and provide individual mentorship with great attitudes. Ariel is committed to creating and maintaining a nurturing environment with an authentic collaboration between teachers, staff, students and parents...she is amazing!! Both of our kids (one in HS, one in JH) are THRIVING academically & socially. We are immensely grateful for Ariel & the Skybridge community!

Ariel and the rest of the staff at Skybridge have done a WONDERFUL job of creating a vibrant learning environment where students' needs and interests come first. The whole Skybridge community embraces an individualized, inclusive approach to education that welcomes each person's strengths, weaknesses, and areas of interest. My kids are brilliant and funny, but they needed something different from even the great magnet programs in public schools; they have thrived at Skybridge, where their thirst for learning is satisfied in ways that honor their differences and celebrate their contributions. Parents of students who need a different approach to education should definitely talk with Ariel about whether Skybridge would be a fit for their children in 6th through 12th grade.
