Trinity is located approximately 11 miles from Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park. Its paved biking and skating trail connects to the 42 mile long Suncoast trail. Trails equipped with watering troughs are also available for horseback riding. You can fish from the Anclote and Pithlachascotee rivers and camp at a tent site or in a cabin. If you enjoy bird watching, Starkey Wilderness Park is Site 73 on the Great Florida Birding Trail. Approximately 150 species of birds have been sighted in park.
There are so many activities to pursue at the Sponge Docks, you'll want to reserve at least a day. The entire street along the docks is lined with shops, bakeries and mouthwatering restaurants. You can watch the shark feeding and see the stingrays at the Tarpon Springs Aquarium. There is also a bounce house and ball pit for kids. The gym features rocks and boulders that challenge climbers both physically and mentally. The staff periodically rearranges the configuration to offer climbers a new route.
