What it means everywhere else: A bunch of confused high school kids who can kind of play the expensive instruments their parents hesitantly bought.

What it means everywhere else: A spicy winter dish made from ground beef, peppers, beans, and sometimes everything but the kitchen sinks.

What it means everywhere else: A person who flies into space, AKA what everyone wants to be when they grow up.
What it means in Ohio: Someone you run into at the grocery store or a future local politician.

What it means everywhere else: The capital of Ireland.
What it means in Ohio: A ritzy suburb of Columbus, Ohio where even the corn is fancy.
18. Family
What it means everywhere else: You, your parents, any siblings, and maybe grandparents.
What it means in Ohio: Your immediate family, plus your fifty-three cousins who all live within a twenty-mile radius of you.

What it means everywhere else: Time off work or school where you go somewhere different, like a beach, to relax.
What it means in Ohio: When you go to King’s Island or Cedar Point to scare yourself silly on a massive roller coaster.
