Marquis Govan is an incredible eleven-year-old kid from Missouri. When he spoke to the St. Louis County Council, he said things that people several times his age have had trouble articulating or even realizing.

I wish I had the fortitude and resolve that Marquis has shown. Listening to his impassioned views on the Ferguson conflict as well as larger issues absolutely gives me hope for the future.
